Seven outdoor pools are conveniently located in communities around Montgomery County for easy access to summer fun and fitness. The outdoor pools are suitable for children and also offer adults the opportunity to swim.

The department continues to work on hiring additional first responders and interested applicants are encouraged to apply online. Depending on staffing levels, we expect to keep a couple of swimming pools open until the end of August. Information regarding the closure of the pool will be announced in early August.
Prerequisite You must be comfortable in deep water and be able to dive into the pool and swim in front, back and breaststroke for 50 yards. If your swimmer needs ADA accommodations, contact your neighborhood pool to determine the accommodations that best suits your swimmer. Cotton garments or toddler suits with flotation inserts No food, chewing gum, beverages, alcoholic beverages, or glass containers are allowed in the pool area or changing rooms Diapers must be designed for swimming Only diving is allowed in designated dive areas. Anyone under 10 years old must have an adult Pool Guidelines Non-swimmers and weak swimmers should stay at the shallow end of the pool Swimmers should wear clean and appropriate swimsuits.
To make your visit as easy as possible, please contact the pool you want to use at least 1 business day before your visit in order to complete a Group Use Agreement. Only one bounce is allowed. Flotation devices must be approved by the U.S. UU.
Small toys and noodles allowed Due to the limited number of lifeguards, the city will have a different pool open every day until July 30. They cannot return until the pool manager gives the go-ahead. Weather conditions may change pool hours.
